What Paycheck Planner keeps
- Your email address, to send your sign-in links. It's never shown to anyone or used for anything else.
- The budget you type in: paychecks, bills, spending, goals, accounts, and balances. Paycheck Planner never connects to your bank and never asks for bank logins, card numbers, or account numbers.
- Passkeys: only a public key that can check your passkey. The passkey itself never leaves your device.
- Sign-in attempts: the time, the network address, and the browser, to stop abuse.
Who can see it
Only you. Your budget isn't shared, sold, or shown to anyone, and the people who run the site don't look at it. It's stored on a server in the United States run by Amazon Web Services, and sign-in emails are sent through Postmark.
Cookies
Two: one keeps you signed in for this visit, and one keeps you signed in on your own device for up to 60 days. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Your calendar link
If you subscribe to your paydays and bills in a calendar app, the link itself is the key. Anyone with it can see those dates and amounts, so keep it private. You can make a new link at any time, which stops the old one.
Taking it with you, or deleting it
In Settings you can download everything, and delete your account and your whole budget for good.
