Jeep Wagoneer (XJ)

For 1984 the Wagoneer name moved to a dressed-up version of the new compact XJ Cherokee, meant to replace the full-size SJ Wagoneer, while the big SJ carried on as the Grand Wagoneer. It came as a plain Wagoneer and a Wagoneer Limited with woodgrain side trim, a bright grille, and plusher seats. Quad headlamps arrived for 1986. The base model ended after 1987, and the Limited lasted to 1990, when the Cherokee Briarwood took its place.

Notes

Body style (number of doors), 2WD availability, dimensions other than the shared wheelbase, and sales figures were not confirmed in the sources read, so they are left empty or null. Engine years are the Cherokee XJ's; EPA combines the two models through 1988. Wikipedia's Wagoneer article dates production 1983 to 1990, while some other sources say 1984 to 1991.
