Jeep Commander (XK)
The XK Commander was the first Jeep with three rows of seats, a squared-off SUV built alongside the Grand Cherokee in Detroit and sharing its 109.5 in wheelbase and running gear. A raised roof over the second row gave stadium-style seating, and CommandView skylights let light into the rear. It offered a V6, a 4.7 L V8, and the 5.7 L Hemi, with three full-time 4x4 systems and up to 7,400 lb of towing. Sales started strongly but fell every year after 2006, and it was dropped after the 2010 model year.

Notes
Towing: the 2006 launch release says 7,200 lb; 2007 and later releases say 7,400 lb. Ground clearance: Wikipedia gives 8.3 in, Cars.com rounds to 9 in. Wikipedia also lists a Rocky Mountain edition for 2007 to 2009, but Jeep's 2009 Rocky Mountain release covers only the Patriot, Liberty, and Grand Cherokee, so it is left out. Overland years: Wikipedia says 2007 to 2009, which matches Jeep's 2010 release listing only Sport and Limited.
