Jeep Compass (third generation, J4U)
The third Compass moved to Stellantis' STLA Medium platform and is the first Jeep offered as a mild hybrid, a plug-in hybrid, and a battery-electric vehicle, with all-wheel drive on some versions. Production started at Melfi, Italy, on October 29, 2025, for about 60 markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. It has not been sold in North America: Stellantis had planned to build it in Brampton, Ontario, announced in October 2025 that North American production would move to Belvidere, Illinois, and later would not confirm that plan.

Notes
This generation is not sold in North America, so model years are approximate (European launch 2025). Code J4U per Wikipedia (which also lists J4D) and Mopar Insiders. Wikipedia gives the reveal as May 5, 2025, a 110.0 in wheelbase, 75.9 in width, and 65.9 in height (not cross-checked); Stellantis gives the length as 4.55 m, which matches Wikipedia's 4,552 mm. A Stellantis Austrian press kit (seen only through a search summary) lists a front-drive electric version with a 74 kWh battery and 213 hp. Fording depth is given as 480 mm in some releases and 470 mm (electric) or 408 mm (e-Hybrid) in the press kit. Wikipedia reports a four-star Euro NCAP rating. Stellantis' October 2024 preview said it would reach North America in 2026, which did not happen.
