Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK2)
The fourth Grand Cherokee used an architecture derived from the Mercedes-Benz M-Class (W166) and moved to four-wheel independent suspension, a much stiffer body, and the new Pentastar V6. Quadra-Lift air suspension and Selec-Terrain traction modes kept its off-road credentials while the cabin moved upmarket. A 2014 update brought an eight-speed automatic and a 3.0 L EcoDiesel, and the 707 hp Trackhawk of 2018 made it one of the quickest SUVs on sale. It was a strong seller and a long-running model, carried over for 2022 next to its replacement.

Notes
The brief listed this generation as 2011 to 2021, but Wikipedia describes a 2022 carry-over (Grand Cherokee WK) sold beside the WL, so a 2022 entry is included. Wikipedia also lists Toluca, Mexico (armouring only). Dimensions and weights are from the 2021 Stellantis specification sheet (Wikipedia gives 114.8 in wheelbase, 76.3 in width, and 4,533 to 5,264 lb); the weight range excludes the Trackhawk, which the sheet does not list. Towing: 5,000 lb (V6, per Wikipedia) to 7,400 lb (V8, 2011); the 2021 sheet gives 6,200 lb (V6) and 7,200 lb (V8). Ground clearance 8.1 in (SRT) to 10.8 in (air suspension, position 2). Wikipedia dates the SRT8-to-SRT rename to 2014, but EPA listings use SRT8 through 2016. Wikipedia gives 470 hp/465 lb-ft in the text and 475 hp/470 lb-ft in its table for the 6.4 L.
